Champs waiting to excel

After few days the Indian Cricket League will kick start on October 10. Here are four players who will be watched keenly in the next session of the league.
Champs waiting to excel
Nathan Astle
Team captain, the 37-year-old New Zealander is an attacking batsman who relishes playing the cover drive and the pull shot. Has the distinction of scoring the worlds fastest Test double hundred in terms of balls faced: 200 off 153 deliveries versus England at Christchurch in 2002. Final: 22 off 168.
Michael Kasprowicz
36, right arm fast bowler who has had a good ICL season.

A good outfielder, can also bat lower in the order and is hence effective in T20 cricket. Debuted for Queensland at the age of 17 and in 2004 enjoyed his best season by capturing 47 Test wickets in a calendar year.
Robin Morris
The 31-year-old has represented Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy, played for MCA Boards XI and Orissa before he was yanked by the ICL. A utility player, the right arm medium pace bowler and batsman has an average of 31.75 in domestic instant cricket. Is also a good fielder and thus ideal for the T20 form of the game.
Raviraj Patil
The only Mumbai Champs player to be selected on the ICL India team, chiefly for his two half-centuries and a knock of 47. The right hand, one-down batsman is a hard hitter of the ball and so far in these championships has a strike rate ranging between 160-170. He is one player to watch out for.
